WHAT IS PROFHILO?
As we age, our skin becomes thinner and looses it’s natural elasticity, leaving skin looser and causing wrinkles. Dr Andrew uses this injectable to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, plump up and hydrate the skin and create a naturally glowing, youthful complexion.

HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
Profhilo® boosts and stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin whilst remodelling the deep supporting dermis layer of the skin. It contains a high dose of Hyaluronic Acid, a substance that occurs naturally in our bodies and is key to our skin remaining hydrated. By injecting Profhilo, our skin is rehydrated from the inside restoring the overall quality, tightness and smoothness of our skin.
RESULTS
Profhilo® and any skin booster results take time as they rely on the bodies natural reponses to build collagen and ellastin. Frequently there is a fantastic glow and hydration a few days after treatment, followed by longer lasting lifting and tightening results of the skin weeks and even months later.
Aftercare
You may have a small swelling at the injection points after the appointment but these will subside within 24 hours. There may also be a small amount of bruising but can be covered up with make up and will fade quickly.
FAQ
DOES IT HURT?
The procedure is largely pain free, with the exception of mild discomfort which is experienced due to the small needle injection involved. You may notice some soreness in the injection site directly after the treatment, but this should subside quickly.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS?
Most side effects are short-lived and mild, the most common being mild bruising to the site of the injection.
