In today’s society, people are becoming more aware of the importance of maintaining or enhancing their appearance. Yet it is surprising how little people know about what procedures or treatments are out there that can give them that “upgrade” they’re looking for.
That’s why at The FACE Academy, we were so excited to have opened our doors last week to not only unveil our new look and team, but more importantly to encourage people to come and talk about aesthetics and see what happens in our clinic.
We had a great turn out at our Launch Parties and they turned into a perfect opportunity to break the taboo of talking about aesthetics and skincare, and allow people to talk openly about what they would like to have done. Our practitioners were on hand to give advice on treatments and talk about how big enhancements can be achieved with really simple procedures. The lovely Prosecco provided by Scavi & Ray, and the food provided by Italian in the Kitchen chef, Renato, helped things along greatly too!
Guests were able to watch live demonstrations: lip fillers were performed by Dr Andrew Culbard, and a Chemical Peel was performed by Dr Lauren Evans. These were also streamed live on Thursday’s Party and it was great to see huge numbers of people watching from home and interacting live during the demonstrations. To date, over 2000 people have watched the demonstration videos online, which just shows the interest and demand is out there to know more about aesthetic procedures. We are more than delighted to help keep people informed, and more importantly to demonstrate that the procedures are not as scary as some may think!

#ivebeenfaced was also officially launched and we were able to explain to our clients that all those who have an aesthetic or skincare procedure at the FACE Aesthetics and Skincare Clinic from the 14th of July till the 14th of September will receive our specially-selected 2 in 1 lipstick and lipgloss in Plum. Clients who post a picture of themselves wearing the lipstick on social media and who tag it with #ivebeenfaced along with checking into the FACE Aesthetics and Skincare Clinic, will be placed into a prize draw. Following the 15th of September 2016, five names will be selected from this draw and the winners will receive a gift voucher worth £100 off further aesthetic or skincare treatments at our clinic. Who wouldn’t want to get involved for a chance to win?!
